Reporter:
Congratulations on your Quarter Final win against the hosts Ukraine, your partnership with Superdunny seems to be blossoming considering you two were thrown together at the last minute, how have you found working together?

Jonty and Camzy, co-managers of Germany would like to thank Herr Barzagli, who for the last two weeks has single handedly kept us in this competition. It was a nail biter last night, with Jonty’s captaining of the Italian defender the only option to overturn the might of Poland. When Barzagli’s yellow card came in it looked bleak again for Germany, but thankfully he went on to rack up the recovered ball points and end Poland’s dreams by just two points. Germany have a solid track record of outrageous jamminess, having qualified from group B with the lowest joint score. Croatia awaits, but can this tiny, unusually flagged nation really be a match for the sheer outrageous flukability of Germany.

Here's the presser:

The much-hyped FFS Euro 2012 lived up to its expectations during the Group Stages as we headed into Matchday 3 with only one team eliminated from the Cup. All that meant was a stream of banter and excitement flowing through the central nervous system of the Fantasy world....F.F.S.

After yesterdays games, this group is tighter than a Tyneside Thai thigh massage*

DEN-GER 86-99
POR-NED 98-95

Live table:
6 GER (Jonty, Camzy)
6 DEN (Isacki, Light Knight)
3 POR (Billy Ketsu, yours truly)
3 HOL (China Mag, In Like Flynn)

We have enjoyed our partnership immensely, even if we have not harvested the best of luck. A lot of laughs, and a lot of fun. Many, many thanks to the UEFA cronies … Would do it again – with great pleasure! Well, we are almost down and out. But like these two, we will live to fight another day!!!

As we head into the crunch period of the tourney, let's take a look at what each team needs to do to qualify into the QFs.

But first, here's what the rule book says:
1) The top two teams in each group will qualify for the knockout phase
2) If 2 teams are level on points after the final group match then the h2h record (win/loss) between them will determine
who qualifies for the knockout phase.
3) If 3 or more teams are tied on the same points after the final group match, the Points Difference (GD) will come into play, as it effectively takes into account all the matches. If the GD is equal, then the team with "higher points scored over the 3 games" goes through.

With gameweek 2 of the FF Uefa competition drawing to a close, the atmosphere in Group A (Poland/Russia/Greece/Czech Rep) is incredibly tense.

Both Russia (Daniel/Monte Hristo) and Poland (Chrissy Waddle/Fuzzy) won the first round of games, leaving it all to do for Greece (Doos/Ginkapo) and the Czechs (Jafalad/D.Flamingo) to qualify for the QF’s. GW2 draws to a close with all four teams in with a chance of winning this round, making Group A a veritable cauldron of tense, sweaty banter.

Unlike Archimedes who leaped from his brimful bath, elated at his flash of insight into a puzzling problem, and then having bustled past people in the street naked, dripping and shouting “Eureka!” (I have found it!),I am fortunate enough to say that mine had few parallels with him. It began with the browser coming to a complete halt after having opened up 10 different fpl teams in a frightful hurry. Of course, I had my justifications to do so as I wanted to view the live scores of my friend’s teams after RVP's massive 23pt haul against Blackburn. This was what instigated the sudden realization of the problem. My professors at college often said that realization of a problem is a part of the solution. I must point out here, that they were wrong as usual. I was as clueless as it gets when it came to the solution.
