Rules & Overview
Instructions for Team Submission
Every country will be managed by TWO managers. The idea is to encourage a team-based spirit in the successful management of a team.
The managers are encouraged to form a team of 2 and submit only one common application form, which can be found here
Remember, you need to make only ONE common submission for the Euro Cup & the Friendly World Cup.
In all, there will be 4 groups and 16 countries allocated for the group phase, implying there will be 32 managers.
Criteria for Team Selection
The major criteria for the selection of a team would be:
1) popularity/reputation of the managers on the forum
2) highest FPL rank of both managers (highest FPL rank refers to your best end of season rank)
3) contribution to past UEFA events
4) team vision & goals (to judge team spirit)
Each of these criteria will be judged objectively by the organizing committee and the ultimate decision rests with them.
We recommend a manager choose his partner wisely, as this will influence both your chances of being selected.
Every submission will be ranked and the top 16 submissions will be seeded into 4 pots for the Euro Cup and submissions ranked 17-32 will be transferred into the Friendly World Cup 2012 (again seeded into 4 pots)
A draw will be conducted to allocate the teams based on the seeding.

Matchday
The matchday score for a country will be the total of the individual matchday scores of the 2 managers.
Any point hits taken to bring in players for the h2h will be deducted from your weekly total
There are no restrictions on playing your wildcard
(For eg. Spain, managed by A (60) & B (40), is up against Netherlands, which is managed by C (50) & D (30). Spain (100) defeats Netherlands (80).
Group Phase
The top two teams in each group will qualify for the knockout phase
If 2 teams are level on points after the final group match then the h2h record (win/loss) between them will determine
who qualifies for the knockout phase.
If 3 or more teams are tied on the same points after the final group match, the overall Points Difference (GD) will come into play, as it effectively takes into account all the matches.
If the overall GD is equal, then the team with "higher points scored over the 3 games" goes through.
Knockout Phase
The winning team at every stage of this phase proceeds to the next stage.
In the event of teams tied, the team with the most goals wins (Penalty shootout)
In the unlikely event of teams still tied, the better ranked team (uses avg of the ranks of the 2 managers) wins
